Terra Powersports® believes in practicing good business ethics and keeping our customers happy. Here are some additional policies and liability conditions that will keep our business running smoothly and you aware of important issues:

  • When you place an order through our website, you agree to the policies that we set for our customers
  • Terra Powersports® reserves the right to refuse service to anyone
  • Individual product descriptions are claims of the manufacturer and/or distributor and do not reflect the opinions of Terra Powersports®
  • Our product sizing/fitment charts are for general reference only. Please try on products if possible
  • Terra Powersports® is not responsible for errors in typography and/or photography
  • All product images are for representative purposes only. Actual products may vary
  • Prices or specifications are subject to change without notice. Terra Powersports® is not obligated to mistakenly posted prices
  • Terra Powersports® will not be liable for any damage or injury, personal or to property, resulting in or caused by the use of any part we sell. All responsibility will be assumed by the customer or ultimate user.

Please follow these very simple guidelines when participating in the DealMaker Plus Program:

  • The DealMaker Plus™ Program is only valid on products that display the DealMaker Plus Icon at the top of the product's page.
  • Individual item purchases must be over $150 in order to qualify.
  • Multiple-item purchases must be over $200 in order to qualify.
  • Items for Group Buy purchases have no minimum dollar requirement and is at our DealMaker staffs' descretion, but we are pretty flexible!  Just let us know what kind of deal you are looking for.
  • Be reasonable when it comes to asking for a discount and don't expect to get a $150 discount on a pair of gloves that costs $199!!

All competing advertised prices must be from credible/authorized dealers of the product. Sorry, we will not honor any prices from eBay®, anyone affiliated with eBay® or any auction-type seller. We reserve the right to deny our Price Match offer if we deem the dealer to be illegitimate.

  • Competing Advertised Price- Is the TOTAL checkout price including competitor's price, tax, shipping & handling charges, misc. fees

  • We will not call competitors for pricing. Our DealMaker staff must be able to physically verify a price in the ad, website and/or catalog

Free Shipping Storewide  -Simple Handling fees may apply-

Terra Powersports® has always offered Free Standard Shipping Storewide on any single shipment.  We will continue to do so with No Minimums!!  Split shipment orders may be subject to an extra charge per shipment made.

As usual, our Free Shipping offer does not apply to tires, wheels, chemicals & lubricants, some smaller accessories and oversized items:

  • Tires and wheels will still be charged the regular shipping amounts, BUT we have made it possible so that we can waive the extra $7 handling fee that UPS charges!
  • Chemicals, lubricants and some smaller accessories do not qualify for this offer.
  • Oversized items, like full exhaust systems, will most likely have additional shipping charges added because of the dimensions of the box.  If we find that an item is oversized, we will contact you immediately and confirm the new shipping charges before charging you anything.  For an explanation of what UPS qualifies as an 'oversized' item, please click here and scroll down to the "Oversize" definition.

The Free Shipping Offer is only offered in the 48 Continental United States. APO/FPO orders do not qualify.

The Perfect Fit

Terra Powersports® was the first to offer this type of exchange policy because we have always understood the importance of having your helmet and apparel items fit properly.  Safety, comfort and your personal satisfaction are reasons why we have The Perfect Fit Exchange Policy.

If your helmet and/or apparel items do not fit correctly, we will make sure that the right size gets to you.  Just request an RA# here and provide a detailed explanation as to where you are having fitment problems and the correct size that you need.  Our customers are responsible for returning the incorrect item back to Terra Powersports®.  Once we receive and inspect the returned items, your correctly sized items will be sent out, Free of Charge!!  Here are some additional guidelines that you should follow:

  • Exchanges can be made within 10 days of receiving your merchandise
  • Customers will only be allowed one (1) exchange per item. Additional exchanges on that item will be subject to our general exchange/return policy below
  • A valid Return Authorization (RA) Number is required in order for us to accept any packages
  • Your exchanges must be received within 10 business days from the date the RA number is issued
  • All merchandise needs to be in its new and unused condition, along with all original packaging and materials including tags, instructions, protective covers and other items that come with the product
  • Refunds for original shipping charges will not be given
  • Refused orders and/or returns will be subject to the same policies as a Return

Even though we have introduced The Perfect Fit Exchange Policy, we still encourage our customers to do some research about the product and try it on whenever possible.  This will save you a tremendous amount of time and hassle!

The Perfect Fit Exchange Policy does not apply to closeout items or special order items and is only offered in the 48 Continental United States. APO/FPO orders do not qualify for free return shipping and are subject to our normal exchanges/returns policy, but the normal restocking fees will be waived.

Military Orders-  Online Processing now available!!

Terra Powersports® is proud to offer our products and services to Our U.S. Armed Forces!  Just place your orders online like you normally would and under the "State" field, make your APO/FPO selection.  Orders will be shipped via USPS Express (EMS) or USPS Priority (unless requested otherwise). Shipping rates and information will be show by our Shipping Estimator when you add items to your cart.

International Orders-  Online Processing now available!!

Terra Powersports® is glad to offer our products to our friends all over the world! We all know that it is a little more difficult to ship internationally, but we will try to make things as easy as possible and pass along only the charges that we incur and nothing extra! Here are some useful guidelines:

  • Orders will be shipped via USPS Express (EMS) or USPS Airmail Parcel Post (unless requested otherwise). Shipping rates and information will be show by our Shipping Estimator when you add items to your cart.
  • Our prices and fees do not include international taxes or tariffs. The customer is responsible for these additional charges. Please consult your local customs office for the proper information.
  • Due to the high amount of fraud out there, we have employed a very strict internal payment policy and we use the most advanced fraud detection measures available. Please understand that your international order may be refused if the information needed is not correct or valid. Be aware that Terra Powersports® will take the time and resources necessary to Prosecute To The Fullest Extent!  Wire transfers or cashier's checks are preferred, but International Credit Cards may be used. But again, it is at our discretion (please check with us for more details). 
  • All payment types must be in US Funds.

  • No Exchanges/Returns will be accepted on these items.  Please be certain that you want the item!

Gift Certificates

Don't waste your time trying to figure out what color jacket he likes or what size helmet she wears... let them figure it out on their own!  Terra Powersports® Gift Certificates are a perfect gift for any of your bike-crazy friends!  Simple to order for you and easy for them to use.  Here are some terms that will apply when you purchase your gift certificate:

  • Gift certificates and unused portions of gift certificates should be spent within 12 months from the date of issuance, which is the "spend by" date included on the gift certificate. Gift certificates do not have an expiration, but Terra-Powersports.com reserves the right to pay out the remaining balance of the gift certificate at any time and for any reason.
  • Gift certificates must be redeemed through the Terra-Powersports.com Web site, http://www.terrapowersports.com, toward the purchase of products listed in Terra-Powersports.com's online catalog.
  • Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase gift certificates or any other gift cards.
  • Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
  • Terra-Powersports.com reserves the right to change and/or add additional redemption exclusions at any time.
  • Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's gift certificate account and is not transferable.
  • If your order exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, you must pay for the balance with a credit card.
  • Gift certificate cash value is 1/10 of one cent.
  • Gift certificates and their use on the Terra-Powersports.com Web site are subject to Terra-Powersports.com's general Terms & Policies.

Due to the constant rise in packaging costs and fuel surcharges, we have implemented a simple, yet minimal handling fee for certain orders.  Coupled with our Free Storewide Shipping offer, you are still saving a tremendous amount... especially if you order multiple items.  Take a look here to see a simple break-down of the handling fees:

Order Shipping Times

Many of our customers need to know exactly when their packages will arrive and the staff at Terra Powersports® tries their hardest to provide accurate shipping time estimates. Generally, if an order is received before 2PM PST, it will begin processing that same day. The majority of our orders will ship within one to two days from the time the order is placed. Very few orders will need to be shipped out by the third day, but if there is any foreseen delays with your order, you will be notified immediately.

On rare occasions, vendors may provide incorrect information to us or packages may be lost in transit to us. In these types of situations, we thank you for your patience and understanding.  We will always strive to keep you informed about the orders you place with Terra Powersports®.

Customers who select a faster shipping service, like 2nd Day Air, usually need their items by a certain date. Please remember that some items may be out of stock and require extra time before they can be shipped out. If you are in a rush to get your items, please check with us first so that you may receive a realistic time frame and not be disappointed. 

Please understand that even if the product is offered on our website, it may not be in stock.  Until the day that ALL of our vendors provide Live up-to-date stock information, we will not be able to provide perfect updates about availability.

Backorders

Please understand that we do not stock every item on our website and that when your order is placed we still have to check for availability.  If our distributors notify us of a backorder item, you will receive an email notification with details pertaining to the particular order. For ANY backorders, you will have the option of canceling your order without any additional charges or restocking fees!

Cancellations & Order Changes

We understand that sometimes people change their minds after placing their order, but the problem is that our systems are very up-to-date. Once your order is placed it is all computer automated from that point on and items are either packed if in stock or orders are placed electronically with our distributors. Therefore cancellations and/or changes are subject to the same terms as our return policy.

Exchanges & Returns

To save you time and money we strongly suggest that you do some research about the product that you are purchasing and try it on if necessary. Exchanges and returns also use up our time and resources therefore we must charge a restocking fee of 15% (not to exceed $65) or $15, whichever is greater. We understand that sometimes items are not to your satisfaction, so we will take every step necessary to provide you with unmatched after-sales support. Here are some guidelines that will help us to meet this goal:

  • No exchanges/returns/cancellations on Special Orders, Closeouts, Fairings (including but not limited to undertails, huggers, fenders and cowls), Electrical (including but not limited to signals, bulbs, communicators and Power Commanders)
  • Exchanges and returns can be made within 10 days of receiving your merchandise
  • A valid Return Authorization (RA) Number is required in order for us to accept any packages, and can be requested here
  • Your exchanges and returns must be received within 10 business days from the date the RA number is issued
  • All merchandise needs to be in its new and unused condition, along with all original packaging and materials including tags, instructions, protective covers and other items that come with the product
  • Refunds for original shipping charges will not be given
  • Refused orders and/or returns will be subject to the same policies as a Return

Defective Merchandise

All defective merchandise will be handled by the individual manufacturer and will be subject to the manufacturer's approval. Terra Powersports® can not reimburse return shipping because the manufacturers do not reimburse us. If you discover a defective item please follow these procedures:

  • Defective merchandise can be returned within 10 days of receiving your merchandise
  • A valid Return Authorization (RA) Number is required in order for us to accept any packages, and can be requested here
  • Your returns must be received within 10 business days from the date the RA number is issued
  • All merchandise needs to be in its new and unused condition, along with all original packaging and materials including tags, instructions, protective covers and other items that come with the product

Incorrect Item Received

On very rare occasions our team members might ship you an incorrect item. If this happens we will take care of everything! We will provide you with a return label for the incorrect item and take care of the replacement shipping charges. If you have received an incorrect item please follow these procedures:

  • Incorrect items can be returned within 10 days of receiving your merchandise
  • A valid Return Authorization (RA) Number is required in order for us to accept any packages, and can be requested here
  • Your returns must be received within 10 business days from the date the RA number is issued
  • All merchandise needs to be in its new and unused condition, along with all original packaging and materials including tags, instructions, protective covers and other items that come with the product

Lost or Damaged Packages

The best of care is taken by our team members when packing your goods for delivery. Once merchandise is picked up by the carrier, Title to the merchandise is passed on to the customer. Therefore, it is the customer's responsibility to make claims for damaged goods with the carrier. We do NOT insure the packages, unless otherwise requested. Some important tips to remember when a lost or damaged shipment is discovered:

  • Let the carrier know about the damage when you sign for the shipment
  • Keep all packaging material AS IS if damaged
  • Call 1-800-PICK-UPS immediately to make the claim and for additional information
  • UPS requires that damaged or lost shipments be reported the SAME DAY or they will not process the claim
  • Contact Terra Powersports® if you need additional assistance... we will be more than glad to help!!
